What We Do
We begin by visiting the store in person and reviewing the items selected for online consignment. During this visit, we collect the information needed to properly present each item online. This can include details such as metal type, karat, weight, stone details, brand, model, size, condition, measurements, reference numbers, accessories, and any other item-specific information needed for a clear listing.
We also take product images during the visit. Good images are one of the most important parts of selling valuable items online. How Payment and Returns Work
This service can be structured in different ways depending on the agreement with the store.
If returns protection is included as part of the deal, it is added as an additional percentage or cost. With returns protection, the store is paid for the item when the order is shipped. This gives the store a cleaner and faster payout process because the store does not have to wait for the marketplace funds release date.
If returns protection is not included, then the store is paid once the funds are released by the selling platform, such as eBay. In that case, the payout depends on the platform’s normal payment release timeline.
Without returns protection, if the item is returned by the buyer, the store is responsible for taking the item back. This means the store may not receive final payment until the return window, platform process, or funds release conditions are complete.
Returns protection is designed to give stores a more secure and predictable experience. It helps reduce the risk of delayed payment or returned merchandise affecting the store after the item has already been shipped.

The second option is a percentage-based consignment model. This works best for stores that prefer to pay based on sales performance. Under this structure, Claudio & Co takes a percentage of the sale once the item sells. The exact percentage depends on the item type, value, selling platform, workload, and whether returns protection is included.
Returns protection can be added for an additional percentage or cost. When returns protection is included, the store is paid when the item ships. When returns protection is not included, the store is paid when the marketplace releases the funds, and the store is responsible for taking the item back if it is returned.
Some stores may use a combination of both models. For example, a store may pay monthly for consistent listing and sales support, while certain higher-value items are handled through a percentage-based consignment agreement.
